Report on Varsity game v Washington Montessori on Wed Nov 5, 2008

Thuis was really a game of "two halves" for us. In the first half we played some excellent soccer, in fact the best we have played all season. The score at half time was 2-1 to Wash Mont. We passed well, supported each other superbly, covered each other in defense and worked hard all round the field. Alexa and Chris were solid at the back and Jon and Nick covered very well indeed. In Midfield, Matt husled and bustled, Roan sprayed the passes and Isabel produced a hard working defensive and attacking display. Alex worked some good one twos on the wing and Jackson and Sebastian were firing in shots. Jackson indeed found the roof of the net with a bullet of a shot.
The second half promised much but with some extended pressure from Wash Mont paying off, we soon found ourselves 5-1 down with only 10 mins gone in the second half. After this, we lost a bit of heart but kept battling on with the final score reaching 7-1.Andrew came on and worked hard, Alex had a good chance and Jackson again went close. All in all, an encouraging game for the future!

In this setting, Josh developed a love of the musical theater and began acting and singing in school productions. In 1997 and 1998, Groban attended the Interlochen Arts Camp, majoring in musical theater, which is also when he began taking voice lessons outside of school. The announcement came today on Josh Groban's website. It seems Josh Groban is a fan as much as a star. What happened to the Stings, the Celine Dions and the Stevie Wonders of the world? Now we are left with Jay Z, Britney Spears, and Korn.
