Squash - DDS v Parents/Faculty played on Thursday March 5th, 2009

It was great to see so many parents at Millbrook School on Thursday. I know the kids had a great time and that they really appreciated playing against the adults. Believe it or not, 14 matches were played and the score was DDS Squash Team - 7, Parents/Faculty - 7...Yes it was a tie! It was also great to see Ms Ackers, Ms Bettigole and Ms Duffus there too. Once again the intrepid DDS Swim Team with a few new faces, set forth to take on the cream of Maplebrook. The action was fast and furious. Our team consisted of Lillian, Hanna, Matt, Eddie, Bernadette, Carter, Ben and Morgan. The results are as follows:

Overall Result: Dutchess Day School 54 points Maplebrook 46 points

Squash Team lose 8 - 3 to Westover but hold their heads high!

The DDS squash team battled bravely against a more older and experienced Westover team. Everyone played as well as they could and although we only chalked up 3 victories, it was a great team performance. The results are as follows:
