Tigray Tournament - JV Soccer "A" team report

The DDS's JV Soccer A Team, consisting of the 6th grade players with a few 5th graders, had a very successful Tigray Tournament. They defeated Wash. Mont. 1-0. Andrew Colangelo scored off a nice pass from Neil Howland. The second game against Rhinebeck's B Team ended in a 0-0 tie. The third game win of 1-0 against Melrose resulted in the DDS A Team making the Semi-finals. Alex Quartararo scored against Melrose with the assist going to Jake Bhangdia. In the Semi Final game the team was defeated 0-3 against a very talented Rhinebeck A Team. It was a wonderful Tournament and a great learning experience for both 5th and 6th grade teams.
