The varsity field hockey team defeated Mizzentop on Thursday, with a score of 2-0. 8th grade Captain, Gracie Howland tore up the field for the entire 60 minutes of play. Our other Captain, Sarah Anthony, caught Mizzentop's goalie on her heels and put a shot into the lower right corner within the first 5 minutes of play.
After half time, the lady Tigers came back onto the field with authority, and 6th grader Sophie Perekslis added another goal to the lower left corner. 7th grade goalie, Hanna Carlin saved 2 AMAZING shots in the second half, keeping the Tigers ahead from start to finish.
The varsity field hockey team has had an absolutely AWESOME season. Our last game is HOME on Wednesday, November 7 at 3:15pm. We hope to see you all out there cheering us on!
