Varsity Volleyball game v Rumsey School on Wed Jan 9th - Report by Ms Schoch
The Dutchess Day School varsity volleyball team began their regular season with a solid 3-0 win over Rumsey. Serving was crucial, at this point in the season, and several players stepped up with consistent and well-placed serves. Co-captains Adrienne Sieverding and Claire Shope led the attack, with Christy Agrawal and Eddie Castillo contributing to the Tiger offense as well. Alexa Colangelo played a great defensive game, and Paige Reifler came up from the junior varsity to help the Tigers to their first win of the season. It was an exciting beginning, and the team invites everyone to come and watch its games during the season. Please see the sports calendar for the schedule. Also, the team has added a game on January 23rd, with Westover, at Westover. Look for details to come.
