Varsity Basketball v Kildonan School played on Monday January 12th, 2008

The two teams were evenly matched but we finally loosened up, moved the ball around nicely and were more patient executing baskets. Our 2-3 defense was once again great. I am pleased with how the team played, again down two players from our roster. Unfortunantly we will be missing Kai Stroud for the rest of the season due to a broken wrist accident during ski Friday.
We are currently on a two game winning streak and we are now getting comfortable playing with each other and it shows. The first game we scored 20 as a team, the second game we scored 22 as a team.....this game we had 20 in the first half. Yes, we are improving and I am happy and proud of the team's play. Danielle Stamer and Sean Gorwana contributed 11 points each, which was the most Danielle has ever scored!.... she told me after the game. Roan Gideon added 5 points, Jackson Ryan added 4 points, Christian Marzullo, Ben Poholchuk, TJ Sayah, Sebastian Barry all had 2 points. Jon Hill was the only player that did not score but he made some great hustle plays down the strech to help his team. GREAT JOB TEAM!!!!
