I did not know what to expect after the long vacation. With the students not practicing and after a long break, forgetting plays would make it difficult to pull out a win. But we did it! DDS won the game but we could of easily had more points than just 22. We were leading the whole game and late 4th quarter was when melrose started to press us defensively and catch up....a little too close for comfort! We were able to hold them off to get our first win in this second game of the season. All of the players hustled out there and played a great game. We are learning as a team to play with one another as each player contributes differently. Kai Stroud was again our high scorer with 10 points, Sean Gorwana added 8 points, Christian Marsullo ran the point guard position very well and added 4 points, Danielle Stamer was a rebounding force with 4 rebounds and added 2 points, Roan Gideon also added 2 points respectively. T.J, Jon Hill, Jackson Ryan and Ben Poholchuk, although they did not score hustled and contributed for our team defensively. The next 2 games we play we will face the same challenges of not yet having a practice to go over plays that we have forgotten...WISH US LUCK......
