Short Report

Once more the intrepid DDS Squash team ventured out in to the tough world of prep school squash. Although the result was a clear one in favor of Trinity Pawling School, our fast improving team played some excellent squash, losing many games by very narrow margins. For our new 5th graders, it was mainly a learning experience up against much older and larger opposition. However, I will guarantee in the next few years their time will come! David also put up a decent fight but was always up against it. Our first seven players, however, performed very well indeed. Izzy, Denny and Hadley won their games in fine style, but if you look at the results, the others were so close in a number of games. Alex, Hanna, Lizzy and Andrew had it in them to beat their opponents and were very disappointed to narrowly lose out! All in all, this was a great match and one that we hope to repeat before the end of the season!
